How to shop grocery with your baby ?

This bundle of joy has brought so much happiness in your life. But every little thing you do now is much more complicated. You can't eat, sleep or even poop the same way you did before your baby came along :)

So, how would you go shopping to get those fresh "organic" fruits and vegetables to make that home made puree for your six month old ?Yes, the one your baby hates to eat :)

How can you push the shopping cart and hold your baby at the same time?

Well, you could use a sling but you don't want to wake up your baby from the car seat ! Plus talk about the toll it takes on your back !

Your baby is not old enough to sit in a shopping cart on her own yet. So how would you get about this mundane task you ask?

Keeping the car seat on the cart might work but it seems very risky to me. I am an over -thinker, specially about unforeseen accidents with my baby :)

How about we make use of that expensive stroller ? Yes, the one that we carefully picked by comparing and researching for the best quality and comfort for our little one. Before you jump to conclusion that I am talking about shoving up everything in the stroller, be assured its not that. What if your stroller doesn't have enough space to hold all your grocery ?

Here is what you do ,

Buy Stroller Hooks and add the shopping basket like so! You might have already bought these to hold those numerous bags that we have to carry with a baby

After you pay , you can use those hooks to carry your bags easily as well.

Of course this will only work if you have small amounts of shopping to do. This trick will also work in other stores where ever you get a basket to shop.If your baby is old enough to sit on her own , you could still use this hack if you don't like those germs on the shopping carts. Or when the baby is asleep in the car seat.

Caution: Make sure you don't make the basket too heavy , your stroller might topple with overweight.
