Glass Painting

This is a tutorial for art on glass photo frames.

Step one is to draw the art that you want to paint on glass. You can instead download a copy and print it or buy a poster of the art that you want to paint.

Take out the glass from the frame you bought. Next take a tracing paper and trace the art.Then attach a carbon paper on the glass. Carbon paper is usually used to make multiple copies from a type writer. Anything you write or draw on top of the carbon paper will be traced down on the glass.Keep the traced art on top of carbon paper to trace it back on the glass. Important step here is to trace the art backwards ( mirror image) so that when you are done painting and add the glass back to frame you get the correct image of the art.

Next use glass paint and fill in the colors.Get a aluminium foil and crumple it as much as you can. Add the foil to the glass. Add the painted glass back in the frame and you are done with the project !
